Drumheller
Tyra, the biggest dinosaur sculpture in the world is a Tyrannosaurus rex, a carnivorous dinosaur that roamed now western North America during the late Cretaceous period more than 70 million years ago.
While the Tyrannosaurus rex stood at around 4-6 metres tall, Tyra would tower over them at more than 4 times the height of a real T-rex. It’s not just Tyra’s scale that makes her so unique, but you can even get a breathtaking view of the badlands from her jaws! Climb the 100 steps to the top and take in the view. You can meet Tyra at the Drumheller Visitors Centre.
